Magento support retainer

Magento support that stops emergencies before they start

One team that already knows your store, your server and your roadmap. Each month you get developer time set aside for new features and fixes, security patches as soon as they're out, monitoring that spots problems before your customers do, and first place in the queue if something breaks. Every change goes through staging and into a changelog. At the end of the month you get a short summary of what we did, what we patched and what we'd suggest next. The store keeps getting better, and you stop hearing about problems from customers.

  • Developer time set aside every month
  • Security patches applied when they're released
  • Incidents handled first
  • A changelog you can read

One team

That already knows your store and your plans

Priority

Response when something breaks

Patched

Security releases applied on a regular cycle

Who it is for

Established Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce stores with ongoing development

Merchants with no in-house Magento team, or one that needs back-up

Multi-store and B2B setups with integrations that have to keep running

Businesses that want to know someone will pick up when things go wrong

The problem

When every fix starts with a new developer learning your code, you pay for that learning every single time. Patches wait because nobody owns them. Small issues turn into incidents, and when one hits, nobody knows the server, the extensions or the history. A retainer gives you the same developers each month, a codebase they know, patches that actually go out and an agreed priority when something breaks.

  • ›Security patches are several releases behind
  • ›Each new developer has to learn the store from scratch before fixing anything
  • ›You hear about problems from customers first
  • ›Routine requests sit in a queue nobody owns
  • ›There's no record of what was changed on the store, or why
How we work

We start with a review of your setup, then settle into a steady monthly routine.

  1. Step 01

    Getting to know the store

We go through the store, server, extensions, backups and deployment process, write down what we find and fix anything risky. After that, we know your store.

  2. Step 02

    Monthly patches

Magento security patches, extension updates and PHP or OpenSearch updates go onto staging, get tested and are released on a schedule you agree.

  3. Step 03

    Monitoring

We watch uptime, checkout, error logs, cron, indexers, disk space and certificate expiry, so we usually spot problems before customers do.

  4. Step 04

    Requests and improvements

Your monthly time covers new features, bug fixes, configuration changes and speed work. You set the priorities and we tell you how long each one will take.

  5. Step 05

    Monthly summary

A short note each month on what we did, what we patched, what we noticed and what we'd do next.

Why Scopebit

01

The same developers every month

Retainer work is done by the people who run our upgrades and incident work. Nobody hands your store to a junior once the contract's signed.

02

Tested before it's live

Every change goes through staging, with your sign-off where it matters, and can be rolled back. You won't find out about our work from a broken checkout.

03

Our mistakes are on us

If something we changed causes a problem, we fix it in our own time. It's a simple rule and it keeps everyone careful.

04

Magento 1, Magento 2 and Shopify

If you run more than one platform, or you're planning a move, one team can look after all of them.

From our clients

Communication was very easy and straightforward. The whole project was smooth and delivered on time without any delays or issues. We will hire Scopebit again without any hesitation.
